Day 01 / Arrival Delhi

When you arrive at the Delhi airport your Golden Triangle Tour with Khajuraho and Varanasi begins. You will be escorted to the hotel by Go Heritage India Journeys representative. Take rest for the rest of the day.
In the evening go to the India Gate, the War Memorial Arch. It is the most popular hangout in Delhi. Enjoy your evening time here. It is full of life in the evening. Feel India and its jovial air everywhere. Then our representative will treat you a lip-smacking dinner at an exotic dining venue in Delhi. Stay overnight.

DAY 02: DELHI SIGHTSEEING

On the second day of Golden Triangle Tour you will explore the monuments of New Delhi and Old Delhi. After breakfast, you will set out a guided tour to Humayun's Tomb , Qutub Minar , Lotus Temple , Akshardham Temple , Doll's Museum, National Art Gallery and Museum. In New Delhi you will see the changing elements of the capital city, how globalization grips nook and corner of the city. You see everything, the political hub of India, the dreams and facets of the uprising middle class, the slum dwellers, the business hubs, and many more.
After lunch proceed to Raj Ghat, the Memorial of Mahatma Gandhi and pay tribute to the Father of Nation. Then visit the Old Delhi which is quite opposite to New Delhi. It seems like an ancient village. First tour the majestic Red Fort, the hub of the Mughal capital Shahjahanabad, and then the Jama Masjid, the largest mosque of India. Then explore the markets of Delhi. Tell your priority to our representative and he will take to the market you want to visit. Return back to the hotel and after a mouth-watering dinner, stay overnight.

DAY 03: DELHI- AGRA

After breakfast, you will be driven to Jaipur. Enroute you drive past the landscapes of Indian countryside. Reaching Jaipur, take the hotel.
Jaipur is the first planned city of India built by Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II. The pink sandstone built monuments of Jaipur earns the sobriquet, the pink city. This city is related to the Rajput royalty.
Today in the evening enjoy a car ride to explore the many facets of the pink city. Otherwise you can walk on the roads to explore more of the pink city.

DAY 04: AGRA- JAIPUR (250 KMS- 5 HRS)

Jaipur Tour is one of the most thrilling parts of the Golden Triangle Tour sightseeing . In Jaipur you will explore the monuments of Rajput, one of the largest Hindu kingdoms of India. Jaipur is quite different from Agra and Delhi. First visit the Amber Fort and Jaigarh Fort; both are emblem of Rajput architecture. Then tour the Jal Mahal and enjoy a camel ride here. After lunch visit the City Palace, Hawa Mahal, Jantar Mantar, Museum, temple, etc. The pink beauty of the monuments will mesmerize you. Jaipur tour is incomplete without shopping. Explore the colorful markets and you will see here lots of things. After a theme dinner, stay overnight.

DAY 05: JAIPUR - AGRA

On the 5th day of Golden Triangle tour check out the hotel in the early morning. Drive to Agra through the country roads of incredible India. Enroute visit the World heritage Site, Fatehpur Sikri which houses palaces and tombs. On arrival in Agra, take the hotel. Then our tour guide will showcase you the Agra Fort located on the bank of River Yamuna. Agra Fort is an architectural marvel of the Mughals. You also visit the It-mad-ud-Daula's Tomb made by Nur Jahan in memory of her father. Then visit the markets of Agra. If you want to buy a mini Taj Mahal made out of marble, buy it from a Govt approved Emporium. The rest of the day is at leisure at the hotel. If the hotel has ayurveda massage facility, take a massage to soothe your weary soul.

DAY 06: Jhansi By train and Drive to Khajuraho

At dawn explore the majestic Taj Mahal , one of the Seven Wonders of the World. Taj is itself a mystery, its white marble architecture is the masterpiece of Mughal architecture. Then proceed to Agra railway station to take the train to Jhansi. On arrival at Jhansi, our representative will pick up you and drive you to Khajuraho. Enroute visit the medieval Hindu temples of Orcha. Reaching Khajuraho, take the hotel . Khajuraho is a World heritage Site which houses the Medieval Hindu and Jain Temples. The temples of this town are famous worldwide for the erotic sculptures. After dinner, stay overnight.

DAY 07: Khajuraho - Varanasi

Post breakfast, explore the Kandariya Mahadev Temple dedicated to Lord Shiva; the erotic carvings of the temple will be feast to your eyes. Also visit the Hindu temples such as Brahman, Vamana and Javari. The other attractions are the Jain Temples of Khajuraho.
What thrill you in Khajuraho is the erotic sculptures; you will see here the nymphs, gods and goddesses. The temple complex of Khajuraho covers a huge area. You feel here a medieval aura. Khajuraho temples are a great attraction to the art and heritage lovers. The main motifs are sexualities of gods and goddesses.
After touring Khajuraho, take the flight to Varanasi, one of the oldest inhabited cities in the world. A Hindu pilgrimage dham, Varanasi is located on the bank of the holy River Ganga and Hindu pilgrims visit this city in great devotion. Now Varanasi has a cosmopolitan character, you will see here Europeans as much as Hindus. It was the abode of the Indian writers.
Reaching, take the hotel. In the evening walk past the Ghats of Varanasi to have a view of the spectacular aarti. The flames seem like twinkling stars on the azure waters of Ganga. After dinner, stay overnight. If you are a spiritual kind of person, try to grasp the depth of Ganga in night. If your window offers a view of Ganga, have a look of it.

DAY 08: Varanasi

In the morning, enjoy a boat cruise on the Holy River Ganga. If you do believe in Hindu spiritualism have a holy dip in the Ganga, it is said a dip in Ganga can wash away the sins of life.
After breakfast, you will be taken to Sarnath, a Buddhist destination which houses some temples and monasteries. Lord Buddha preached first sermon at Sarnath. Then you will drive to Benaras Hindu University and explore the museum which houses Indian arts and sculptures. Return back to Varanasi. On the second day in the holy you take your own choice in the evening time.

DAY 08: Varanasi - Delhi

On the concluding day of India Golden Triangle Tour take the flight to Delhi and then board your flight.
